They also have the right to the same collective facilities and amenities provided to comparable workers from day one of their assignment. A comparable worker is a permanent worker in the same role, carrying out the same type of work, at the same level of responsibility or difficulty and in the same location as the agency worker.
The Regulations apply in England, Scotland and Wales, while in Northern Ireland the broadly similar Agency Workers (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2011 apply.
